Band Bio
Travis Feaster- Guitar, Vocals
The blues isn't something you can acquire, nor does it
come neatly wrapped in that first electric guitar you buy. Simply
stated, "You either have it or you don't." For 27-year-old W. T.
Feaster, it is obvious that he has a voice and musical thirst for the
blues far beyond his age. He first heard the blues playing from
the other room in his crib and finally felt it on his fingertips when
he saved up the money for his first Fender Stratocaster guitar. The
blues found him like an old dusty T-Bone Walker record stranded
in the basement waiting for that next spin. Given a style that feeds
from those that came before him, but continues to break off on it's
own branch, he can pull you into the blues and lead a new generation
of blues fans down the crossroads.
Jake Iseminger- Drums
"A great drummer listens as much as he plays." Nothing
could be said any better when describing 24-year-old Jake Iseminger,
drummer for the W.T. Feaster Band. Jake has been playing
the drums for 17 years when he received his first drum for his
seventh birthday. Born and raised on Kokomo, Indiana's urban
north side, Jake was exposed to the sounds of the Blues, Motown,
R&B, Funk, Gospel, Jazz, and Hip-Hop at very young age. With
rhythm in his blood and the "groove" in his soul, Jake drives the
bus that is known as the "W.T. Feaster Band" down the same path
that his mentors drove down years before him. Always in "the
pocket", Jake lays a groove down on the drums that the crowd
can't help but to catch the musical spirit that will keep them moving
all night long.
Austin Shearer- Bass
In the small town of Frankfort, IN, Austin started playing bass at
the age of 16. Guided by the influences of Rock n' Roll, Blues,
R&B, and Funk, his passion for bass guitar was quickly ignited.
Austin's performing career began in 1993. Shortly thereafter, a
call from a musician in Lincoln, NE brought him into the Country
music scene. He played there for 3 years before returning to Indiana.
Back home again, Austin played in several bands of different
musical styles. Austin has a reputation of being one of the most
solid and versatile bass players in central Indiana.
